I really really really wanted to keep this blog for professional purposes, but I can’t help but post this hysterical video. Of course, it probably won’t mean much to anyone except me, Patrick and Sam. Oh well, it’s still funny.
I should probably provide some insight into this video, and explain why it is so damn funny. Sam (Samantha) is a reporter for KUJH-TV News, Patrick is an online producer, and I am supposed to be one of the adults supervising the newsroom…Sam was working on a story about the Explore Evolution exhibit and wanted to use the word dichotomy. The TV producer said “No” because it was a big word. Patrick suggested that we call someone to find out if they understood the meaning of the word dichotomy, and if they did, Sam could use it. As it turned out, I don’t think the person Sam called understood the word. She ended up saying, “the idea of quiet strength seems like a contradiction.”
I have a million other things that I really should be doing right now…more witty commentary on Patrick’s blog.
