Up in the mountains in Colorado Springs, near Garden of the Gods, we recevied four inches of snow today. I believe the forecast calls for more snow tonight and tomorrow. According to the latest KOAA TV weather report, it’s 25 degrees right now. Yey! I love snow. Especially when I don’t have to go anywhere or do anything. It’s perfect thesis-writing weather.
Of course, last night we had to go out and play in the snow. Sledding is so much fun!
On Saturday, we drove up to Boulder to meet up with our good friend, Jenny Byrd. Jen is currently working for the AP in Cheyenne. Poor Jen. She only has four more weeks on her temporary contract though, and then hopefully, she will be moving to D.C. to her dream job. Our fingers are crossed for ya Jen.
Boulder is a cool town. We spent some time on Pearl St., the hill and the CU campus. Jen posted her pictures on Yahoo and I have more pictures of our spring break in Colorado posted on Flickr. Check ‘em out.
